I had 6 disconnects in a row when I tryed to go out of the Chantry Of Secrets portal. So fustrating.

[9 disconnects now, this is a joke.]

Same error here, starting today around 3:00pm est.

Only seems to happen on the Sunspear Sanctuary->Marga Coast portal for me. Ticks me off more than any bug I've encountered since the WPE.

I got 2 characters for NF and the portal 007 error happens either one of the EVERYDAY, when exiting various portals.

I noticed that this started to happen when they fix the bug where your toon walked a few steps beyond the portal. After they 'fixed' the bug my toon would for a moment sent back to a few steps before the portal and then 1~2 seconds later the loading starts

Right before the 007 error occurs the toons are usually 1~2 steps beyond the portal and the game freezes a bit and then gone back to the log in screen

see it happens to me so often I can recall it so vividly

Yep happened to me today, i tried again and again to get into the nightfallen jahai zone and err 7 every time so i gave up. A couple of days ago it happened as i walked out of droks but it worked when i logged back in whereas today it never worked.

This err7 nonsense has made this game now totally unplayable for us 8 close guildies here - the frustration is just not worth it. And this has been going on for days now.

Can't get through the portal in Kaineng to see the Emperors Hand, can't use portals into or out of Cavalon, multiple eer7's while helping with Arbourstone Mission, can't map travel AT ALL in tyria... and the lag is beyond a joke.

Won't send any further support tickets - just got told to post on a fansite forum.

The "leave from International Disctrict" trick worked for me, and allowed me to proceed, but that's only a temporary way around the problem. I'd like to see it fixed for the sake of all in the game.

So this was the original thread regarding the err7 portals... I posted on the other one. I've been experiencing the same thing with several locations in Kourna and Vabbi. It was really annoying in that I had to jump around different locations just to see which one allowed me access to an area.

lol thats entirely bull shit imo, all this has nvr happened to me b4 and after winterfest it started happening to numerous people, so how the fk its our fault>.

Yes, since the last update...end of Winterfest...Error 7's galore (and some 58's as well but not as often as the 7's)

I have never had disconnect issues with Guild Wars before and my system hardware/connection etc has not changed.

Allot my my Guild Members are having this issue to. I though I was lucky cause it has not happened to me yet but today it happened to me twice trying to exit the portal from Sunspear Sactuary to Magna Coast. I just went to Yohlan haven and entered Magna Coast from that porthole and it worked fine. I am almost 100% positive this error has NOTHING to do with my setup and has EVERYTHING to do with ANET server or a Bug in the current update. Most Tech support for all games, not just ANET, Are quick to blame the end user for an issue dealing with connection problems which is what Error 007 is. But due to the fact that the Error 7's are widespread and are just happen when people leave towns at portholes it has something to do with the Game itself and nothing to do with the End Users Setup. I hope ANET gets this fixed soon.

Agreed. And, I guarantee it's not my rig / connection.

And, international districts (never favor....or more than a few people) are not the reason I love GW so much.

I wish they would have said something like "D'oh! Seems to be a big issue!" We will look into it, thanks for your patience!"

I had posted in a different thread, but as this seems to be the main thread on the subject I will post an update here..

Last night, around 4-5pm EST, these portals were producing err007's for me:
- Shing Jea Monestary to the first wilderness area (forget the name)
- Seitung Harbor to Jaya Bluffs

I was able to work around the Monestary one by going from a different outpost, but I finally gave up on the Seitung portal. After logging out for a few hours, the Seitung portal finally worked for me after an additional 2 or 3 tries. Haven't noticed it anywhere else so far.

My theory for a correction, I may be wrong I don't know, but I think it has somthing to do w/ decompressing, and if I run through the portal fast I suddenly hit center of that town, and get 7'd. So I try to walk up to the portal, and slowly up arrow through the portal. I may be nuts, but it seems to work when I'm having the problem, give it a try if you want.

sry for being rude.but gaile allways state that the dev team is reading our post every day, and yet we had not receive any single response for this matter. this is annoying the hell out of me all those err7 every portal.
